Talina: Salon Manager

Talina doe's it all, she runs the show, so to speak! Talina has been our front desk now for a long time and runs it like it was her very own. AS it is. We consider the front desk one of the most important jobs we have at Kalista and Talina runs a mean desk. She is always the gal at the front.

She makes sure everything is running perfect and there are no problems with your appointments. I can count on her to do her job with perfection. She is where it all happens. 

Nichole: Receptionist; We lucked out finding Nichole, she was one of about 75 applicants for the position. She told me just after she was hired she didn't think she got it. What she didn't know is we loved her immediately! Our first interview is based on personality. First: and we tell the girls this. We don't even look at the resume. We want to first see if you will fit with our very close staff then we do a second interview and see what you can do.

Nichole has 5 years as a receptionist from were she came. We didn't even know that, when we where all done with the interviews, both Managers  loved her.

We are glad she is here and I know you  will love her too.

Aimee :Manager &  Massage Therapist. Specializing in Deep tissue, She is great with deep tissue, already creating a huge following. Swedish massage and Reflexology. Aimee apprenticed with us and we fell in love with her! She shined like no one else, she landed a job that is hard to get. We love her and are so excited to be working  with her.

You may see Amiee running around trying to organize the staff, getting them motivated for the day. You might see Amiee coming out of a massage she just did. But you will always see Amiee doing some dumb dance and singing completely off key. Blurting out "I LOVE THIS SONG" one thing about her is: She is hilarious and keeps everyone cracking up!

Amanda: Massage therapist, Specializing in Deep tissue, Thai, Swedish, Body wraps, Lipo Massage.

Amanda is a wonderful massage therapist. She has been working at a chiropracters office before she came to us! She is a joy to be around. Very quite, till you get to know her. Then she just keeps talking and talking. You will love your experience with her. 

Midori: Eshtetician ( Waxer/ Facialist ) Well versed in the ION Scanner for ridding wrinkles and age spots. Midori is from Japan and has been doing Esthetics for over 13 years. She has brought an amazing amount of knowledge to our salon. Skilled in many fasets she is amazingly talented. She researches all her products and is always telling me about the newest things out there. We all know that the Japanese are brilliant. And Midori very much proves that. She is quick with waxing and skilled with facials.

 She has extensive training in facials, waxing, lash perming, lash tinting, and ultrasonic. She is cerified in lash extensions, certified in Lipo Massage.

Lauretta- Esthetician! Lauretta is such a wonderful, amazing person. We had our Salon employee party for our staff. Mostly to introduce our new crew to the old crew. When we had to go around the room and tell someone something nice about them. Midori had to say something about Lauretta. She said You are very talented. Smart and Pretty. The way she said it had everyone cracking up! Lauretta is a beautiful person inside and out! Her practical was to give a Brazilian wax. NOW if you know anything about waxing you will know this is the hardest waxing to do. Well She had to give a wax to Talina The manager. And she did it with perfection! YOUR HIRED! We love her already! And you will too!

Amie:  Color, Highlights, and Thermal Straightening, Amy is one of the nicest people i have ever met. Always smiling always willing to help everyone else. She is very talented at doing hair, You  won't be sorry you met her, and you won't be sorry you came to her.

She has been written up in 101 hairstylist magazine for being one of the best colorist of the north west!

Kimberly: Hair Extensions, Thermal Hair Straighting, Color, Cuts, Highlights and Trainer. I have been doing hair for 10 years, I'm the founder and the one and only owner. I love what I do and that is why I still do hair about 60 hours a week as well as run the salon.

A lot of people think we are a corporate salon, but the truth is we are just the opposite! We do have that day spa feel, but without the snotty attitude. We give all the other BIG Corporate Day Spas a run for their money!!!

It's harder to write something about myself so i will leave it at this. I love my staff, I love to come to work and these people could not be any more talented!!!!

Juneka, AKA June: Extensions, Thermal hair straighting, Color, Cuts, Pedicures & Manicures, Waxing. June and I used to go to beauty school together way back in the day. She stayed to teach and I as you know went on to open Kalista. We ran into each other one night and I asked her what she was doing and she said she just left her last job and really....well ya know! So I asked her if she was looking she said yes, and the rest is history.- I am so happy she did come to us cause she has been more than I could have hoped for, she does a mean pedicure, and beautiful waxing, but she loves and specializes in Hair cuts and color. She treats her clients like gold, and always has a wonderful thing to say to everyone. She is always upbeat and willing to help where ever needed. June has three children and is a single mom working full time and at the same time raising her kids, she never turns down the opportunity to come in and help when needed and is always ready to go.

She has that personality that if she is running late, she will make up for it in her talents and personality. Don't get me wrong she also can do a mean thermal straightening and any braid style you need.

We are excited to have her!

Heidi: Nail Tech, Heidi is like a little sister to me. Often you will see us argue like sisters, but we have been together now over two years, so there is an understanding between the two of us. Heidi is the finest nail techs I have ever worked with.  Heidi has the greatest and cutest attitude you have ever seen. Excellent with Pedicures and manicures, Master at Pink and white french tip acrylic, has a huge following for her amazing acrylic nails. Lots of referrals! and if you have ever hated your toes, she can do acrylic on them. We don't use drills and sanitation is our top priority. I’m excited and glad to have her back I enjoy working with her everyday. Heidi also oversees the Second Friday events and decorates and prepairs the food for the night. So next time you see her, give her an idea or two of what the next event should be.... she will love the impute.

Vera Rose:Nail Tech, She is very experienced came from a family of nail techs and hair dressers. She is an advocate for rescuing animals as we all are! Even has a foundation for them.

Vera  has been doing nails for about 6 years now and is fabulous! Awesome Pedicures, Manicures and Acrylics, We love having her with us.

She loves pedicures, manicures and acrylic nails. Loves doing nail art and can design most anything.
